Aragon City Council Member Daniel Johnson is coming home from the hospital today after he was seriously injured in a car wreck that will keep him out of work for Taylor Transportation for at least the next two months.
Johnson, who is being discharged from the hospital this morning, said he was thankful for the community’s support and prayers following a Tuesday morning wreck that saw him transported to Floyd Medical Center with several broken bones due to the wreck.
He asked for the community to continue to pray for him as his healing will take at least eight weeks.
A Fundraiser through Facebook to help Johnson with bills during his time out of work while healing is currently circulating. He said he appreciates that financial support as well. He’s a single father of several children.
“I’m going to need it, since I’ll be out of work for a while,” he said.
Johnson was injured after his motorcycle brakes locked up while stopping suddenly for a car on Tuesday morning in Cedartown in front of Zorba’s on North Main Street. He was sworn-in to serve on the Aragon City Council last year after he was the only candidate to qualify for office in an open seat in August.
